Welcome to Whidwood on Whidbey Island, a garden and readers retreat near historic Coupeville, Washington.

We've been hosting guests here at Whidwood since 2002. We enjoy working in our garden, hiking, reading, dinners with friends, and meeting guests from all over the world. When we travel, we like to tour public gardens, explore state and national parks, see great architecture; plus visit book shops, coffee houses and art museums.
